About the boat
Luft is a Niels Jeppesen-designed X-55, built by X-Yachts in Denmark in 2007. At 55 feet with a deep 3.2-metre racing keel and over 16 tonnes of displacement, she is a serious performance cruiser-racer capable of competitive ORC racing while remaining comfortable for longer passages.
With a main of nearly 100 m², a large sail wardrobe including symmetric and asymmetric spinnakers, and a powerful Yanmar 110 HP engine, Luft is well-equipped for both inshore racing and offshore work in the Baltic and beyond.
