About Tim
Tim Danielson is a competitive sailor from Stockholm with over fifteen years in the sport — from dinghy racing at fourteen to offshore campaigns aboard Volvo 70s and Elliott 44s.
In 2025 he crewed aboard Matador at the ORC World Championship in Tallinn, where the team took Class A Corinthian gold. The same year he sailed the transatlantic crossing from the Canaries to the Caribbean aboard Adrienne II for Season 9 of the Swedish TV series Över Atlanten.
Earlier in his career he served as professional crew and host aboard Ericsson 1 during the 2008/09 Volvo Ocean Race, working stopovers in Alicante, Singapore, Qingdao, Boston, Galway and Stockholm.
Tim Danielson is a professional sailor based in Stockholm, with over fifteen years in Sweden's sailing industry — on the water, on the dock, and behind the scenes running events and operations.
His career has taken him from the bow of an Ericsson boat in the Volvo Ocean Race — as professional crew and host at stopovers around the world — to running AtSea Events as CEO, building the Royal Swedish Yacht Club's partner and event sailing program, and most recently managing Skipperi's Stockholm fleet as Area Operations Manager.
What ties it together is a simple idea: sailing is at its best when it brings people together. Whether it's a corporate crew learning to work as a team, a client at a marquee event, or a day out in the archipelago, the focus is the same — a well-run boat, a great day on the water, and people who want to come back.
